An everyday tool that you'll wonder how you ever did without, this La Crosse weather station displays the current outdoor temperature and humidity, and forecasts the weather with approximately 75% accuracy. The 433MHz wireless station displays the correct time and date without fail—it's calibrated daily to the atomic time standard of the NIST—as well as the indoor temperature and indoor humidity (%RH). The weather forecast is displayed as an icon (like the symbols used in the news), making it fast and easy to read, and is reasonably reliable for 12 to 20 hrs. The forecast is produced by information received from an outdoor transmitter, which senses trends in barometric pressure.
